About David Maas

David Maas of Seattle, Washington has written religious articles, presented theological papers and been both a student and teacher of the Bible for most of his life. Through his Bible study and research, David reached the conclusion that both the Doctrine of the Trinity and the teaching often referred to as “Oneness” are flawed in important ways. He saw in the Scriptures that God is neither three persons (Trinity) nor three manifestations (Oneness). He also concluded that the doctrine that Jesus had a dual nature is unscriptural (both Trinity and Oneness). David Maas came to embrace the understanding of the original Christians that the Father himself is the only true God and that Jesus is not God, but the Christ, God’s only begotten – virgin born son (Matt. 16.13-17, Luke 1.31-32).
