Sean Finnegan

Steve KatsarasColossians 2:9 –

The Fullness of  Deity

Steve Katsaras

Sean Finnegan continues his exposition on Who or what the holy spirit is.  Sean works through the five primary texts used to “prove” the personality of the holy spirit on grammatical grounds (John 14.26; 15.26; 16.13; Ephesians 1.14; 1 John 5.7). Next he explains how to understand the spirit based on the whole of the Biblical data and concludes it cannot and should not be locked in the straightjacket of Trinitarian dogma. This is Part 2 of his two part series on this subject.  Also see Sean’s companion paper by this same title which may be viewed in the “Articles” section of the December 2013 Edition of 21st Century Reformation Online. (See below)

Pastor Steve Katsaras of Melbourne, Australia presents another of his expositions regarding proof texts for the supposed deity of Jesus Christ. In this teaching, Pastor Katsaras considers Paul’s words in Colossians 2:9.  What does it mean that the fullness of deity dwells in Christ?

God is a Single Divine Person

Anthony Buzzard

Anthony BuzzardAnthony Buzzard writes:  “A straightforward reading of the Bible reveals that God is presented as a single Person, with all of the characteristics of a Person. He is not a ‘What’ but a ‘Who.’” Anthony goes on to say that: “The Bible nowhere, however, calls God ‘an essence’ and never speaks of ‘three hypostases.’” This is an excerpt from Anthony’s book “Jesus was not a Trinitarian.”

Is Jesus God Because he did Miracles?

Kermit Zarley

Kermit Zarley

In another of his short / incisive articles, author Kermit Zarley of Arizona deals with the question of the miracles that Jesus did. Do Jesus’ miracles prove that he was God or that God was “with” him. Zarley gives us the Scriptural answer to that question.

How Should We Then Live? (Romans 12)

Steve Taylor

Pastor Steve Taylor of Arizona asks us the question: “What is our world view?” Do we see the world from a biblical point of view? Do we see the world as God would have us to? In this first in a series, Pastor Taylor addresses the question of how we should live in this present world by referencing Romans the 12th Chapter.
